Hello fellow music heads. My name is Dj Stizz Beats MTV producer since 2004. I must admit that I have a number of beats I've made that were not intentional. Don't get me wrong, I think about the next beat frequently but also spend a lot of my time thinking about new techniques I can use for my next beat like wanting to experiment with new drum patterns, maybe trying a different sample method, trying an out of the box drum pattern, or even a certain layering of drums or sounds to create a sound that is new and fresh. I usually say to myself, I'm going to try something new. Not to use it right then and there but instead to have a new tool in my back of beat techniques. I've always believed that success is never directed in a straight line especially with making beats. My fellow producers know we can think of a melody all day, get on the boards and make something completely different, I'm mean the feel is different, the vibe is different, Dam, everything's different. Even while still thinking about the feel from earlier. This just the beauty of music and the mind, How when it comes to music your brain can be somewhere with it but heart be in another.
