Why You Should Be Getting Paid for Shows

I just wanted to share this with because I don't know if you get paid to perform at shows but if not you most definitely can and should. Let's break it down.

​The average shot is usually around $4.50 So let's just say the average person dinks about 4 shots for the night. Let's also say the event is costing saaayyy 10.00 to get in.

So let’s also say you know you have 25 people coming to the show.

Well guess what! Just off of 25.00 people you're making that club owner $700.00.Why can't you get a percentage of that? You're entitled to it. I would start negotiating at 50%.

Trust me; once you break down the math for him or her they should be happy to break you off a percentage. Remember all you need is 30% of that to make $210.00 for the night. Remember that's $210.00 for just 10 to 15 minutes of you time.
