When it comes to getting more people to stream your music some artists get streams by the millions while some artists struggle. But there's actually a reason for it.
We at the "Get It Right blog" team have studied the triggers of what makes streams sky rocket and why some are high and some are low and moderate.
It all comes down to your show.
And we're not talking show as in a performance at a club or concert, we're you talking about you being your own show.
See your main focus is to get people to your music links whether it's spotify, soundcloud, youtube, or where ever you host your music. That's the #1 goal by any means necessary. So what that means is you have put yourself in a position to subtly be able show or tell the people where or how they can find your music.
Here's the key.
As an artist you must understand that you are at all times a walking commercial for your music link. This means as an artist you should do interviews, go live on social media, make quick videos talking about your writing process or even what you like to do when your not making music.
If you make a rap video your streaming links should be clickable for them so they can check out the rest of your music. Like we said, anything to get them back to your steaming links wherever they are hosted.
You do a radio interview point them directly to the platforms where your music is hosted. You go streaming live at the studio point them to the platforms where your music is located. If you release a snippet you can still point them to the rest of your music even though the unreleased snippet has not been released yet.
As long as you understand that you yourself are a walking commercial for your music platform you mind will create different ways to make content to get them there. And remember, the more streams the more money which is not at all bad thing. LOL!!
